ESSAY

Everyone can have books, books are everywhere. You can buy books in bookstores without difficulties, just select and pay for them. Also, you can learn from books, and what you learn from this source can be gained from other people such as your teachers, your parents, your friends or even strange people. Because knowledge from books is gained from what people see and hear from the real life, anyway, it is motionless knowledge and you get it in a passive way. In contrast, the knowledge from experience requires you to go much, practice much and think much, such effort creates real knowledge, and you can gain it actively. Experience cannot be bought, you need to think about it, practice and produce it yourself. If experience is seen as a purchasable item, then the money used to buy it is not made from paper or zinc, but time and effort. The knowledge from books and that from experience are gained at different measures of difficulty, but what you gained from books is nothing compared to those from experiences, you always remember what you have to get with much effort for a longer period of time and in a deeper way.
However, knowledge from experience and knowledge from books have a relationship and they support each other. Actually, books are attached to experience; they cannot be created or even thought of without experience, just because they are products of experience and the motivation that forces people to preserve knowledge for future use. But how do books support experience? When you practice something, you get experience, but to know whether your experience is correct or not, besides verifying it through real life, you may also look for it in books and compare between your conclusion and theories in books. This way, you can use old and certain knowledge to confirm the new and uncertain one.

Life is very important to be understood so we need knowledge to understand it. We know that there are two types of knowledge; the first one is gained from books and the other one is gained from experience. Some people believe that everything that is learned is contained in books and others don't believe that. The first one is called theoretical knowledge and the other is practical knowledge. In my opinion practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge. There are reasons for this point of view and I'll summarize them. Firstly, knowledge which is gained from books is very important to know how people have practiced in their past but we can see that our life is more changeable than people's life in the past. Now we have technology which makes life easier. We see that knowledge from books tells you how to deal with some situations but not all. So you need practical knowledge to deal with situations. Now technology makes the communication between people easier. So we can contact with each other and have practical knowledge.
Secondly, I believe that practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge because books don't tell us all sides of life in its lines. By the practical knowledge you can discover the innovation among people and know how life passes. You can practice all what is in books and know how you can deal with.
In conclusion, I believe that "not everything that is learned is contained in books." Practical knowledge teaches us the fact of real life while theoretical knowledge just gives us guidance. Practical knowledge makes you afford all what you face in your life but theoretical will make you surprised of what you read among its lines.

The Internet today is in many ways seen as an essential to life. It is used in the workplace, school and home. With the invention of the Internet the world was forever changed in both good a bad ways.

Many positive results have come from the invention of the Internet. One positive that has resulted from the Internet is the fact that you are always able to access research information anytime of the day or night. The Internet has every kind of information that you could possibly want, there is everything from how-to's to high level medical research information. Besides research information there also is daily local and world news information, and also weather. There is a big influence of technique on our daily life. Electronic devices, multimedia and computers are things we have to deal with everyday.
Especially the Internet is becoming more and more important for nearly everybody as it is one of the newest and most forward-looking media and surely “the” medium of the future.
Therefore we thought that it would be necessary to think about some good and bad aspects of how this medium influences us, what impacts it has on our social behavior and what the future will look like.
The Internet changed our life enormously, there is no doubt about that. There are many advantages of the Internet that show you the importance of this new medium. What I want to say is that Internet changed our life in a positive way.
First we have to make a differentiation concerning the usage. You can use the Internet at home for personal or you at work for professional usage. Let’s come to the first. To spend a part of our day on the Internet is for many people quite normal. They use this kind of medium to get information about all kinds topics. Maybe some of them are interested in chatting, probably they are members of a community. Whatever you are looking for, you will find it. Even if you want to have very specific information, you will find it in a short time. Normally, you often have to send a letter, than you have to wait for the reception of the reply, or you have to make some telephone calls and so on. In any case, the traditional way is the longer one. To put your own information on the Internet is also possible. Create your own homepage, tell other users about your interests, what you want, that’s no problem at all.

The Internet Is the Greatest Invention of Mankind There are two sides to every story, and in this case, two sides to every argument. The above statement poses such questions as: if the Internet is not the best invention of mankind, what is? And, what would life be like without computers and the Internet? I hope to answer these questions and form a fact-based opinion on whether I think that the Internet truly is the greatest invention of mankind. One of the obvious benefits of the Internet is that it provides people with fast accessible information; mainly through search engines such as Google or Yahoo. These search engines are easily accessed, and they provide links to website containing information on what you searched for. Using these search engines, you can also search for images of whatever you want.
We can visit libraries situated thousands of miles away, enjoy world famous sights which we have only imagined, talk to people, listen to lectures, read the day’s newspapers, transact business, place orders, etc. just sitting in our room. Internet can provide the latest information on education, sports, entertainment, science, medicine, general knowledge etc. in seconds.
Internet has improved our communication system. It has provided an exciting and easy mode of communication known as E-Mail (Electronic Mailing system). Today we can send letters and mails to anyone living in any part of the world just by clicking a few buttons on our computer and that too at an extremely cheap rate.
Internet is a great tool which man has invented. Its potential is still not fully tapped. More and more uses of Internet are being discovered as days go by.
It has made our life easy, comfortable, pleasurable and luxurious. Internet has ushered in the cyber age. However, it is high time that its wrong use and negative impact be minimized. If not put an end to, it will strangle our young generation and lead them to moral abyss.
